If you came looking for bedrock skyblock servers because Hypixel SkyBlock wouldn't let you in, that's not you doing it wrong. As of October 2026 Hypixel SkyBlock is Java only, and Hypixel doesn't officially support Bedrock clients. So this is the Bedrock shortlist: four servers with a skyblock mode that Bedrock players can actually use, checked in November 2026. For the Java side of the genre, my roundup of the best skyblock servers covers it.
Read this first: the late-October Bedrock update
Bedrock 26.60 came out on October 27, 2026, and it changed how Bedrock connects to servers. The old RakNet protocol is deprecated, and servers need to speak NetherNet instead. Geyser, the tool that lets Java servers take Bedrock players, wrote that servers that haven't switched can't let Bedrock players in after that date, and that players may need to change the port on a saved server entry.
What that means for you: if a server you saved in September suddenly says it can't connect, it's probably not you. Update the game, then look at the server's own page for the current address and port before you delete anything. Treat any address in an old YouTube video or a random list as stale.
How to join (and the console catch)
On Windows and mobile, go to Play, then the Servers tab, scroll to the bottom and hit Add Server. Type a name, the address and the port (19132 unless the server says otherwise), save it and join.
Consoles are different. On Xbox, PlayStation and Switch there's no Add Server button. According to the Minecraft Wiki, Featured Servers and Realms are the only servers consoles can reach, and you need a paid online multiplayer subscription on top. That's why two of my four picks are Featured Servers and the other two come with a console caveat. My guide to adding servers on Minecraft Xbox goes through what's actually possible there.
Skyblock.net: the classic, free, no resets
Platforms: Bedrock on Windows and mobile. Address: bedrock.skyblock.net, checked November 2026. There's no port listed, so follow the setup guide on skyblock.net/bedrock for the current entry.
This is the skyblock server tied to the genre's roots, and the Bedrock side is free. Their FAQ says the official servers focus on non-competitive play with no server resets, so the island you build in week one is still there in month six. The store sells cosmetic stuff like pets, wings and trails. The downside is that it's a classic experience, not a modern progression server. Expect islands and grinding, not dungeons and boss fights.
Skyblock.net's own November 4 update says they've added NetherNet support, so it's the one server here that has said it handled the October switch. They also say consoles are supported, but they don't explain how a console gets past the no-Add-Server problem, so I wouldn't count on it. Parents, my Is Skyblock.net safe? check is worth a read first.
Lifeboat Network: the Featured Server with an economy skyblock
Platforms: everything, because it's a Featured Server. How to join: Play, Servers tab, Featured Servers, Lifeboat Network. Sign in with your Microsoft account. There's no address to type, because it's already in the list. Checked November 2026.
Lifeboat lists Skyblock as one of its modes: grow your island by earning and selling resources. One player's write-up describes it as an economy skyblock that starts you on a bedrock block with a chest of basics. Take that as one person's take, not a spec sheet.
The big question on Reddit is co-op. Players report that you have to pay for a rank to invite friends to your island. Check the rank perks in-game before you spend anything, and don't assume your friends can join for free. Ranks are sold for Minecoins, and purchases are final. Lifeboat's blog has been quiet since April 2024, which is something to know going in. Younger kids should skip it; see Is Lifeboat safe? for the age breakdown.
CubeCraft: the most RPG-like skyblock on Bedrock
Platforms: everything, since it's also a Featured Server. How to join: Servers tab, Featured Servers, CubeCraft. Checked November 2026.
CubeCraft's mode is called Skyblock Reborn, and it's the closest thing here to Hypixel-style progression. A community guide on the CubeCraft forums describes islands you unlock through quests, dungeons, augments, runes, spawners and a coin economy. One catch for Bedrock players: the guide notes that Skyblock uses Java crafting recipes, so some will look different from what you know.
Friends are the weak spot. Players in a forum suggestion thread say the multiplayer side of Reborn feels thin right now, with no island visiting. If you're playing mostly solo and want something to chew on, that matters less. If you're planning a group island, find out how co-op invites work in-game first. Complex Gaming: seasonal skyblock where friends can join free
Platforms: Bedrock on Windows and mobile. Address: hub.mc-complex.com, port 19132, checked November 2026. If it won't connect, check their site for the current entry.
Everything in this section is Complex's own description, so read it as their pitch. They run seasonal skyblock with regular resets and a Reset Vault that lets you carry items between seasons. They list 50 island levels, minions, custom runes and a monthly Island Top with store-credit prizes. They say it's free to play, with ranks and keys optional.
The part I like: according to their invite guide, island invites are free, Java and Bedrock players can share an island, and casual islands start at six members. Competitive islands start at five and can grow by buying an upgrade with in-game money. New members start as Recruits and can't build until promoted. If your friend group is split across editions, this is the one to try first. Complex says console players can join too, but since consoles can't add custom servers, I'd check that before you count on it.
Quick comparison
| Server | How you get in | Skyblock style | Playing with friends |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skyblock.net | Add Server: bedrock.skyblock.net | Classic, no resets | Not spelled out; ask in-game |
| Lifeboat | Featured Servers tab | Economy-based | Players report a paid rank is needed to invite |
| CubeCraft | Featured Servers tab | Quests, dungeons, progression | Check in-game; forum players call multiplayer thin |
| Complex | Add Server: hub.mc-complex.com, 19132 | Seasonal, with resets | Free invites, per their guide |
Want Hypixel-style progression on Bedrock?
Nothing on Bedrock is identical to Hypixel SkyBlock, and I'd be lying if I said otherwise. CubeCraft's Reborn is the nearest I've found, and Complex's levels, minions and runes lean the same way. Skyblock Horizons is a Bedrock skyblock for all devices that its own FAQ says will be free (with some cosmetics and perks for sale), but it has no release date, so you can't play it yet. For a one-block twist, see one block Minecraft servers, and for mixed Java and Bedrock groups there's my list of crossplay servers.
Free or paid, and what about kids?
Skyblock.net and Complex describe themselves as free, and Lifeboat says its server is free too (you may still need to own the game on your device). The paid bits are ranks and cosmetics, so check the perks before buying anything. On a lot of child accounts multiplayer starts out blocked, so a parent may have to turn it on first. Skyblock without Minecraft at all
If the Bedrock server hunt is wearing you down, Folly is a free standalone skyblock-style game for PC, coming soon in early access. It isn't on Bedrock or consoles, and there's no release date yet. Here's how the standalone skyblock loop works.
