The Best One Block Minecraft Servers in 2026 (Java and Bedrock IPs)

Public OneBlock servers that were actually online when I checked, the right address and port for your edition, and the console catch nobody mentions.

Looking for a one block Minecraft server? You already know how it works: one block in the void, break it, another one pops up, and you keep going until you've got a world. What you want now is somewhere to do that with other people, and an address that actually connects. The catch is that every OneBlock server list mixes live servers with dead ones, renamed ones and ones that voted their way to the top. So this list is short. Every server below was online when I checked in October 2026, and each one comes with its Java address plus the Bedrock address and port wherever the server lists one. Player counts are from the minecraft-mp.com server list's own ping, so they show one moment, not a promise. New to the mode itself? My explainer on what One Block Minecraft is and how the phases work covers the basics.

OPBlocks Network: the busy all-rounder

OPBlocks is the busiest server on this list, with 863 of its 1,000 slots full when I looked. It's been on the minecraft-mp.com list since May 2017, and the listing shows Minecraft 26.3. Java players join at mp.opblocks.com. Bedrock players use bedrock.opblocks.com on port 19132.

Good: it's genuinely busy, it's been around for years, and it works on both editions, so a split Java and Bedrock group can all get in.

Not so good: OneBlock is just one mode here, sitting next to Skyblock, Prison, Survival SMP and Pixelmon/Cobblemon. Those 863 players are spread across all of them, so don't read that number as a packed OneBlock world. It also sells ranks through its store, and the store's own pitch lists custom enchantments among the perks, so don't assume it's all cosmetic. Checked October 2026.

Oneblocky: the one that only does OneBlock

If you want a server that's all-in on the mode, this is it. Oneblocky runs nothing but OneBlock, and its own listing promises "30+ phases" that you can play "solo or with friends." It had 191 of 500 slots full when I checked, on Minecraft 26.3.

The address is mp.oneblocky.com:25565. On Java, 25565 is the default port, so plain mp.oneblocky.com gets you to the same place.

Good: a dedicated OneBlock server with a healthy crowd. Everyone on it is there for the same thing you are.

Not so good: Bedrock is a question mark. The listing carries a cross-play tag but doesn't give a Bedrock address or port anywhere, so I'd treat it as a Java server until Oneblocky itself tells you how Bedrock players get in. Checked October 2026.

ZedarMC: one address for both editions

ZedarMC is crossplay, and it keeps things simple: mp.zedarmc.com on Java, and the same address on port 19132 on Bedrock. It had 128 of 250 slots full when I checked.

Its listing tags it with OneBlock alongside Survival, Towny, Faction, McMMO, Economy, PvP and Roleplay, and it shows Minecraft 26.3. So think of OneBlock as one part of a bigger survival server, not the whole point of it.

Good: one address to send everyone, whichever edition they're on. For a mixed group, that's about as little hassle as it gets.

Not so good: 250 slots makes it a much smaller server than the first two, so it's a better fit if you like a smaller crowd. It sells ranks too, so have a look at what they come with before you buy. Checked October 2026.

Netherite: big network, OneBlock on the side

Netherite had 623 players online against a 2,026-player cap, and OneBlock is just one mode on the menu, next to Lifesteal, Survival, Factions, Prison, Skyblock, SMP and Towny. Java players join at mp.netherite.gg. Bedrock players use the same address on port 19132. Its own listing spells that out in capitals, so a mixed group can all get in on one address.

It's the same deal as OPBlocks, though: lots of people online, but not all of them are playing OneBlock. Checked October 2026.

Twenture Network: the quieter one

Want a smaller crowd? Twenture Network (mp.twenture.net) was noticeably quieter, with 94 of 500 slots full when I checked. OneBlock SkyBlock is one of its four modes, alongside Survival SMP, Earth Towny and LifeSteal Anarchy. The listing shows Minecraft 1.21.11, so if it won't connect, check your Java version against that.

Bedrock is murkier. Other server lists call Twenture Bedrock-friendly, but its own listing gives a Java address and no Bedrock port, so treat it as Java until Twenture says otherwise.

Quiet can be lovely, or it can mean a server that's winding down, so join, look around, and see if the chat's alive before you commit to an island. Checked October 2026.

Why one block server lists lie

Here's the thing about the big server lists: they aren't Mojang's. minecraft-mp.com says so itself, in capitals: it's not an official Minecraft service and has nothing to do with Mojang or Microsoft. Rankings move with votes, and dead or renamed servers hang around long after they've gone. On the same OneBlock list I used, a server called RebornCraft showed as offline with 0 of 1,123 players while still sitting among the live ones.

So before you sink a weekend into an island, do the five-minute check yourself:

That list is a cut-down version of the checklist in my guide to the best skyblock servers, which goes deeper on economies, resets and team sizes.

How to join a one block server on Java

  1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition and click Multiplayer.
  2. Click through the online-play warning.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the server list and click Add Server.
  4. Give it a name, then paste the address, like mp.oneblocky.com. You only need to add a port if it isn't Java's default of 25565.
  5. Save it to your list, then select it and join.

If it won't connect, check your game version first. Your Java version has to match what the server runs.

How to join a one block server on Bedrock (Windows and mobile)

  1. Open Minecraft on Windows, Android or iOS and go to the Servers tab.
  2. Choose Add Server.
  3. Enter a name and the server address, like bedrock.opblocks.com.
  4. Enter the port. Bedrock's default is 19132, which is what every Bedrock address on this page uses.

If it won't connect, check the port first. And if a server only gives you a Java address, treat it as Java-only until the server itself says otherwise.

Can you join a one block server on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?

Not by typing an address, no. If you've gone looking for the Add Server button on console and couldn't find it, you're not missing anything. It isn't there. Every console runs Bedrock Edition (Java doesn't run on consoles at all), and the console Servers tab only shows the Featured Servers, like The Hive, CubeCraft, Lifeboat, Galaxite, Mineville and Enchanted, plus Realms and LAN games on your own network. You also need your platform's paid online subscription for any of it: Xbox Game Pass Core, PlayStation Plus or Nintendo Switch Online.

You'll see unofficial DNS-redirect tools recommended for this. Microsoft doesn't support them, they send all your console's DNS traffic through someone else's server, and they can break without warning. I'd leave them alone. On console, Featured Servers and Realms are what you've got.

Is OneBlock on Hypixel?

No. The "One Block" you'll find on Hypixel is a Bed Wars map in Dreams mode that came out on September 15, 2025. It's Bed Wars, not the break-a-block-and-grow game. Hypixel doesn't run OneBlock skyblock.

What you might actually want is OneBlock Online, Mojang's own multiplayer take, announced on minecraft.net on July 30, 2026. It's a co-op take on OneBlock, with 29 phases, island upgrades bought with XP, more than one OneBlock per island, monster islands for PvP and PvE, minions to automate the grind, a furniture shop with over 1,000 items, a player-run economy, a leaderboard and server-wide events. There's no IP to paste. Mojang's own instruction is to jump in through the Servers tab in Bedrock Edition. Mojang says more phases are coming, so the 29 is a moving number.

Or host your own one block server

If what you really want is OneBlock with three friends and nobody else, skip the public servers. You can put the One Block map on a server of your own (the explainer linked at the top covers which file goes where), and my guide to free Minecraft server hosting runs through the free ways to keep that server running and what each one costs you in queues and limits.

So which one block server should you join?

On Java and want a server that's all OneBlock, all the time? Oneblocky. Mixed Java and Bedrock group? ZedarMC or Netherite both give everyone one address. Pick ZedarMC for a smaller crowd and Netherite for a big network. Or go with OPBlocks if you'd rather have the busiest server on this list and other modes for when you need a break. On Bedrock, OneBlock Online in the Servers tab is worth a look too. And whichever you pick, check it's still online before you tell your friends. These things change fast.

Like starting from almost nothing?

Folly is an upcoming standalone voxel game where your universe starts as one small island floating in the void and grows outward as you expand it. It's free, no purchases required, and it isn't Minecraft, so there's no Minecraft install and no edition or version to match. You can't play it yet: early access opens on PC on October 16, 2026. Here's how Folly's island works.
