Donut SMP IP for Java and Bedrock: Address, Port and How to Join (2026)

The address, the Bedrock port, and exactly where to type them, plus what to check when it won't let you in.

The Donut SMP IP is donutsmp.net, and it's the same address on Java and Bedrock. On Java you type just that. On Bedrock you also need the port, 19132. That's all you need to get in, as long as you're signed in to a real Minecraft account and your game is up to date.

EditionAddressPort
Java (PC)donutsmp.netLeave it blank (default)
Bedrock (Windows, phone, tablet)donutsmp.net19132

That's the address Donut's server listings use, checked October 2026. Type it exactly: no space between "donut" and "smp", and .net, not .com.

What version should I use for Donut SMP?

Use the latest release of Minecraft. One big listing showed the server on version 26.3 in October 2026. If the game says your client is outdated, update the launcher and try again before you change anything else.

How to join Donut SMP on Java

  1. Open Minecraft Java and click Multiplayer. Click Proceed on the online-play warning if it shows up.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Name it whatever you like, then paste donutsmp.net into the address box.
  4. Click Done, select Donut SMP in your list, and hit Join Server.

Use Add Server rather than Direct Connection and the entry stays in your list for next time. If you've never done this before, my guide to joining a Minecraft server walks through the same menus in more detail.

How to join Donut SMP on Bedrock (Windows, phone or tablet)

Yes, you can join Donut SMP on Bedrock. It's a crossplay server, so Java and Bedrock players end up in the same world. The only catch is that the port is a separate box.

  1. Hit Play on the main menu and open the Servers tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and hit Add Server.
  3. Enter a name, donutsmp.net as the address, and 19132 as the port.
  4. Hit Play to connect, or Save to keep it in your list.

On Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?

Consoles don't give you an Add Server button, so this doesn't work the same way. My walkthrough of how to add servers on Minecraft Xbox, PS5 and Switch covers what your options are there.

Donut SMP won't let me in: quick fixes

Only trust donutsmp.net. If some other site or video hands you a different domain, skip it.

Also, play on a plain vanilla client. Donut runs integrity checks when you connect, and its terms ban hacked clients, so a mod that's harmless in your head can still get you flagged.

Can I join Donut SMP with a cracked account?

You need a real Minecraft account. Donut identifies players by their Minecraft account (the UUID), and players on cracked launchers report getting stuck at "loading ping" instead of getting in. My piece on what cracked Minecraft really gets you covers the risks and the legit free routes.

What is Donut SMP?

It's a big survival server where you grind for loot and fight other players to become the best on it. The listings tag it Anarchy, PvP, PvE, Economy, Crossplay and Survival, and it runs in the US. Expect a lot of players, a lot of PvP, and a lot of people who'd love to wreck your base. Reviews on the listing say the same, and also mention cheaters and scammers, so be careful who you trade with.

If it's full, or it's not for you

My roundup of servers like Donut SMP is the place to start. If the money side is what hooked you, Minecraft economy servers are worth a look. If you'd rather have PvP with higher stakes, try lifesteal SMP servers.
